Acceptable Work Experience by the Canadian Immigration Authority
A reference letter from your workplace, on the company’s letterhead or the department you work for, is required. The letter should include your name, phone number, email address, company address, the name of the person in charge of your section, their title, your job title, your responsibilities, your employment status, start and end dates, weekly working hours, and your annual salary, along with your benefits. Additionally, you must include your pay stubs, a salary slip, or an insurance list. If you are self-employed, you should provide proof of business ownership, income from third parties you have worked for, work contracts with clients or employers, and details of the amounts received.
